The Vans Authentic

Vans' very first shoe and an iconic classic. Originally called the Vans Deck Shoe the Vans Authentic has been produced since the brands humble beginnings back in 1966.

With it's sticky gum sole and rugged build, the Vans Authentic was quickly adopted by skaters and surfers all over southern California during the early 70's; Most notably adopted by the legendary Zephyr skate team (Z-Boys) as official team gear during their controversial entry to the famous Del Mar Nationals, held in California in March 1975.
