New Season Adidas Skate Shoes - October 2010

New 2010 season Adidas Skateboarding now ready for pre-order.

Adidas Skateboarding have now released images of their new season's range. With an estimated delivery in mid October, you can now pre-order and be one of the first to rock the latest season's colours.

All the Adidas favourites are still here in their new colours; the Campus Vulc, the Campus Vulc mid and the popular footie-inspired Busenitz, along with a new version of last season's newcomer, the Silas Pro.

Adidas Skateboarding Campus Vulc

The new� Fango / Radiant Orange / Running White Campus Vulc, features spare laces in contrasting white and the usual spec. with� shock absorbing PU sock liner and Soft Cell heel cushioning at �55.00. The Mid version again comes with a set of spare white laces and the same features, but this time it's a Iron / Black / Metallic Gold colour-way and is priced at �60.00.

Adidas Busenitz Pro

It's all gone ninja-stealth for Busenitz this season with a super-sick Black / Black / Black colour-way for his pro skate shoe. This shoe keeps going from strength to strength with it's reputation for great board-feel and wear resistance. The Busenitz Pro is priced at �55.00.

Adidas Skate

Seeing it through to another season, the low profile Skate is now available in Dark Navy / Argentina Blue / Gum, one of the best colours yet, priced at �50.00 a pair.

Skateboarding Silas Pro

New for last season and loved by anyone who got a pair, the Silas Pro shoe is Silas Baxter's first pro skate shoe. This time available in Aluminum / Black / Light Aqua. Features include recessed eyelets, suede and leather uppers and like the Busenitz Pro styling based on a classic Adidas Shoe, this time the Trail running shoe. The Silas Pro is priced at �50.00.

Nike SB Street Fighter Pack : Chun Li Dunk

Dunk Low Quickstrike Street fighter pack - Chun Li Dunks

This month Nike SB & Capcom bring us the first installment of the highly anticipated Street Fighter pack.

The Nike SB Street fighter pack, comprises of two shoes themed around Capcom's well-known classic 'Street Fighter' video game. Each shoe will be based around one of the games main characters - the fist being Chun-Li, with the Chun-Li Dunk Low.

The Chun-Li Dunks - more subtle than earlier 'video-game' themed shoes with their garish prints and wild colours - are comprised of mixed suede/nylon uppers, a basic 'Chun-Li' colourway featuring a contrasting yellow stitching and a special 'Chun-Li' insole, exclusive to the shoe.

The Chun-Li Dunk will also be joined by another Street Fighter themed shoe later in the season, the Ryu Dunk Mid available soon. Haaaadouken!

HUF Footwear at Scene Skate Store

HUF Footwear now available from Scene Preston.

Working hard to offer the very best in skateboarding streetwear, this month sees Scene Preston adding HUF footwear to its store shelves.

The HUFF brand, headed by pro skater Keith Hufnagel, started life as a small store in San Francisco in 2002. Now in 2011, the clothing brand brings footwear to its list of products. The line of skate shoes and casual footwear is designed by Keith himself with clean lines and a simple colour pallet branded with the trademark 'H'.

We've Just had our first delivery here at Scene and were pretty stoked. There are three styles on offer; A mid vulc style shoe, the HUF Hupper, a vulcanized skate shoe named the HUF Choice and the HUF Genuine - a shoe that can be transformed from deck style to slip-on in seconds. Neat!

�New glow-in-the-dark wood from Heroin Skateboards.

Following on from the success of the last lot, Heroin have done a new bunch of luminous decks.� The series, penned by team rider Fos, is made up from one graphic split between the four decks. They look awesome in the It'll shop; so awesome in fact, it'll be a bit of a shame to get rid!

There are four sizes to choose from: An 8" for� Howard Cooke, an 8.1" for Deer Man, an 8.25 for Chopper and finally a huge 8.4" for Fos's own. The boards are made to Heroin's exacting standards giving them exellent pop and a lengthy ride life.

With so many shared team riders, the Vans Spitfire collaboration was a natural fit. The good folks up at Deluxe came up with the partner logo and incorporated Vans heritage into the t-shirts and accessories. We fired up a spicy, red, all suede Chukka Low for the team. Van Engelen contributed a Spitfire infused color up of the AV6 and Cardiel came to the table with a classy, grey suede Era Pro. The product was great, but we wanted to challenge ourselves to do more, to do better. With "Keeping the Underground Lit" as our starting point we tried to think about ways to give back to skateboarding. It was Jim Thiebaud who suggested we get our hands dirty and rehab some spots, and maybe even inspire somebody to do the same. With the direction and tireless efforts of Tony Miorana and Ryan "Peabody" McWhirter the first spot in San Francisco, became something out of nothing within a week. Miorana christened it "The Parkside Curbs" due to its' proximity to the local watering hole, The Parkside Lounge. As soon as they got the word Van Engelen, Massimo, and Andrew Allen were headed up the I-5. When they arrived, greeted by T-Mo, Ryan "Peabody" McWhirter and Pfanner, the spot was already in full swing. A couple weeks later Miorana and Peabody headed south with their tools asking, "What's next?" The "go-to" had needed some love for a while, so we let ‘em loose. Within a few days that spot was in full session and has been skated everyday since it got spruced up. "The Parkside Curbs" got bulldozed, but we're already onto the next spot that'd be perfect if we only had concrete and some time!

It's been months since we had some Skytop Tuff's here at Scene - After being seen on music heavy-weights such as Jay-Z, the Supra Skytop rocketed in popularity, far beyond the expectations of Supra - Who sold out way before the next batch were due for manufacture.

It's been months since we've had them on the shelves here at Scene. The wait however is now over, as Supra are on the shelves again. We now have stock of both the Tuff Black Gunny and Tuff White Gunny.

We have no idea how long these will last and weather Supra will keep up on demand - if you want a pair, I'd be quick!
