These are our terms and conditions. Please read them with care.
Prices:
All prices payable for the items that you order are clearly set out on the web site. All prices are inclusive of any VAT payable. The price of the items does not include the delivery charge. Shipping costs will be calculated at the check out and added to the total cost. All product information is included on the site and if there is anything you do not understand, or if you want more information, please contact SCENE by e-mail or telephone.
Availability:
We will never take payment until the goods are dispatched (see below). Only those items, which we normally hold in stock will be offered on our site. However, occasionally we may not be able to supply a particular item within a few days, in which case we will not take payment and we will notify you of the expected delivery date. It will then be up to you to decide whether you want to wait for the item.
Acceptance:
There will be no contract of any kind between you and SCENE unless and until we dispatch the goods to you. Your order is an offer to buy from SCENE. There will be no acceptance of that offer until we actually dispatch the goods to you. Only at this point will your credit/debit card will be debited. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the goods to you without giving any reason. At the moment that the goods are dispatched (and not before), a contract will be made between you and SCENE, and you will be charged for the goods. Where items are dispatched separately, then acceptance of the order in respect of each item takes place when that item is dispatched, and you will be charged for each item when it is dispatched.
Payment Methods, Security and Privacy:
SCENE accept MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Maestro/Switch Electron and Solo. All payments are made via “Protx”, an established UK company which has an excellent reputation for security, reliability and professionalism amongst all UK Banks. Payment is totally secure, all of your card details will remain “safe”. Any customer information held on our computers complies with the rules and laws contained within the Data Protection Act 1984 act. We (SCENE) will not divulge any of your personal details to any third party.
Guarantees, Returns and Refunds:
If your purchase is not suitable you have the right to return it to us unused with the original packaging and labels, within 14 days from the date you receive the goods, for a replacement or refund. Please contact us first if you would like to return an item via email or phone just so we know what goods to expect back to us. Please use registered post or a guaranteed delivery service for all returns. All refunds will be given as soon as possible, usually a refund transaction onto the card used for purchasing. At the very latest we will refund your money within 30 days of the original purchase. Under certain circumstances we may refund the return postage, if the goods are faulty or damaged. However, in the case of incorrect ordering and undisclosed reasons for return the customer will be expected to pay the cost. Any goods returned to "Scene" that do not comply with the aforementioned guidelines of return procedure will be sent back to the customer and not accepted for refund, until a time is reached where the goods meet these conditions. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Order Confirmation, Receipts and Bills:
We will e-mail you confirming that we have received your order. You will receive a till receipt and an invoice/packing note with the goods when they are delivered. Any mistakes in billing or receipts will be corrected as soon as possible.
Complaints & Faulty Goods:
We will provide the option of a full refund, within a reasonable time, if the goods turn out to be faulty or different from those the consumer ordered. We will give all refunds as soon as possible. In some circumstance we may have to wait for third party confirmation that the goods are indeed faulty (in the event of a return of a faulty item that needs to be assessed by the manufacturer.) Complaints will be dealt with fairly, confidentially and swiftly. We will acknowledge the complaint within 3 working days and provide a likely timescale for resolving the dispute. We will keep you informed of what action we are taking.
Skateboard Decks:
All purchased decks come with free Jessops grip tape, which we will fit for you unless you specify otherwise.
Due to the abrasive nature of skateboarding on equipment, broken skateboard decks will not be replaced unless deemed faulty by manufacturers defect. Please contact us for additional information.
Statutory Rights:
Your statutory rights are not affected by any of the above.
Delivery/Shipping Information:
Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday will be despatched the same day. We aim to deliver UK orders within 1-2 working days. Free UK delivery is available on all orders with an estimated delivery time of 2-3 working days. Orders placed after 3pm will be shipped the next working day.
All orders placed between Monday to Thursday have the option of upgrading to our next day delivery service at the checkout.
In most circumstances we use Royal Mail 1st class recorded or DHL courier for UK deliveries. Please note a signature is required upon receipt of your item. If a signature cannot be obtained, a card will be left detailing re-delivery information, or the address of your local depot for collection.
If we cannot despatch your order immediately after receipt of payment, we will e-mail you with an expected delivery date.
Postage costs will be calculated at the checkout by the weight of your item/items and added to the total cost. As an estimate, small items like t- shirts and hats are charged at £2.50, larger items like shoes and jackets are charged at £4.50
Occasionally an item may be out of stock, if so we will contact you via telephone or e-mail to resolve any problems.
International Shipping:
Worldwide shipping is available where possible. In most circumstances we use Royal Mail international signed for, or Air sure services. Delivery times differ depending on destination. Most items are delivered with in 7 - 15 working days.

Europe- As an estimate, smaller items like t-shirts and hats cost around £5.50, larger items like shoes and jackets cost between £7-£11.
Rest of world – As an estimate, smaller items like t-shirts and hats cost around £7.00, larger items like shoes and jackets cost between £11-£17.
