Mishka

Мишка (pronounced Mishka) is a clothing label hailing from Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Founded in 2003 by Greg Rivera and Mikhail Bortnik, Мишка streetwear draws references from areas as diverse as the 80s skate scene, underground punk/hardcore, comics, B-movies, horror and popular culture in general.

The name, meaning "little bear" in Russian, is represented in the brand's bear mascot logo. Combining bold colours with strong graphics the brand have developed a concrete design aesthetic. Following the original success of Мишка's graphic tees, the brand have pushed out a full collection ranging from denim, outerwear, knits, sweatshirts and accessories.

Incorporating strong iconography such as their signature "keep watch" eyeball and the "death adder" bear, Мишка continues to push boundaries in the world of streetwear creating a self-proclaimed "counterculture to counterculture"

At Scene, we stock a wide selection of Мишка beanies, snapbacks, tees and crew-neck sweaters.
