Stussy Clothing

Stussy is one of streetwear's oldest established brands with over 30 years of heritage. It was founded back in 1980 when legendary surfboard shaper Shawn Stussy scribbled his signature onto his handcrafted surfboards, which would eventually become the internationally recognised logo of the clothing brand. This logo was then applied to tees, shorts and caps which Shawn began selling out of the back of his car at Laguna Beach, California. This surf-inspired, casual streetwear infused with the spirit of independence and creativity was soon lapped up by the Californian surf crowd.

In 1984, Shawn partnered with his friend Frank Sinatra Jr. to start selling the apparel and by 1988, they had extended their reach to Europe. Today, with over 60 stores around the world, Stussy exists as a well-respected brand name and has been adopted by many street sub-cultures including musicians, artists, skateboarders and DJs, who as well as inspiring the collections over the years have collectively contributed in the success of the brand, helping to establish it as a giant among other streetwear brands.
